The Underdog Effect

About the Author.

The Underdog Effect is written by me, Jeff Reynolds.

I'm an entrepreneur, reader, writer, creative, businessman, salesman, husband, and dad.

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and went on to positions in journalism, television syndication, and high-tech marketing before moving to Boise, Idaho to work as a copywriter/account manager at a growing advertising agency. While there, I earned an MBA, founded five companies (sold 2, closed 3), started a family, and rose to the position of executive vice president before leaving to join rizen creative as a principal in 2006.

rizen creative works exclusively with underdogs to build brands that can compete (and win!) against larger, better funded, and more entrenched competitors.
